29 Years Ago Today Tragedy Struck the George Strait Family [VIDEO]

A couple of days ago our own D Dennison bravely wrote about the pain of losing two of her beloved children in a traffic accident three years ago. I cannot begin to imagine how to carry on from that. I admire D for how she handled life from that horrible day to now. She is truly inspiring.

Few can relate to what D goes through but unfortunately George Strait can. It was on this date in 1986 that George lost his 13 year old daughter Jennifer in car accident in San Marcos, Texas. A couple years later George recorded the song "Baby Blue" which went all the way to number one. Many claim George sang this one in honor of his daughter. Our thoughts go out to the Strait family on the anniversary of that tragic day.
