When you think of the artists that have put their stamp on country music and will forever be thought of as one of the greatest, the name Alan Jackson is one of the first that comes to mind. I would put Alan in the class with Garth and George as the true troubadours of my generation.

It was 27 years ago today that Alan Jackson dropped his debut album on us and was the first chapter in an amazing career began. Alan has continued to make great music through the years and continues to today but this is where it all started.
