2 Killed in Head-On Motorcycle Crash Near Horsetooth Reservoir

Two men were killed yesterday in a head-on crash motorcycle crash near Horsetooth Reservoir.

According to the Coloradoan, a 28-year-old Boulder man, Ryan M. Gorter, reportedly crossed over the center line with his motorcycle and crashed head-on with a motorcycle driven by 55-year-old, Rick Ross, of Loveland.

The crash happened about 2 p.m. on Sunday about one-half mile west of Larimer County Road 23, near the south dam. Excessive speed is believed to be a factor.
