The Larimer County Department of Health reported a total of 75 active outbreaks on Wednesday (Feb. 10), of which 16 have been newly added.

There have now been 331 COVID-19 outbreaks in Larimer County since the beginning of the pandemic; an outbreak is called when there are two or more cases found at a single location or event. Outbreaks remain active until there are no new cases for at least 28 consecutive days

The Larimer County Department of Health updated the number of COVID-19 cases in the county on Thursday (Feb. 11) which nows stands at 18,458 since March. The number of deaths in the county remained unchanged on Thursday.

While Colorado waits to receive an additional 30,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in the coming weeks, Larimer County reported that 37,274 residents have already received the first dose of the vaccine, equating to 10.4% of the population. Among those who received the first dose, 15,070 also received the second dose and are considered fully vaccinated.

Larimer County remains a medium-risk area with a positivity rating of 4.5% and an overall prevalence of 244 cases per 100,000 people over the past two weeks.
