I Have Been a Grandpa For 8 Years Today – Happy Birthday Zander
I have been called a lot of wonderful things in my lifetime. When I was first called daddy was a highlight you just can't equal but being called grandpa might have done it. It was 8 years ago today my grandson Zander came into my life and changed me forever. I thought I knew what love was but I found a new meaning once I became Papa.
I can't thank Zander enough for all of his wisdom and advice. He is only 8 but has life figured out better than most adults. I can always count a wide smile and hug that fills you no matter what the world threw at you that day.
I am so proud of how he treats people and his kind heart. All he wants each day is to be happy and for those around him to be happy. You are going to do great things in this world Zander. We need you and all you are and are going to become. I love that you are willing to try new things. You played soccer, joined scouts and play baseball. I was so thrilled walking to the ball field with you last night for your first game. You make life so much better than I ever thought possible buddy. Papa will love and protect you forever.
