Zander Goes for His First Motorcycle Ride With Papa [PICTURES]

This was a big weekend for my grandson Zander and I. I have always wanted to take Zander out for a ride on my Harley and this weekend we decided it was finally time. I have a feeling this was the first of many rides we will go on together.

I told Zander to go get the helmet and put it on because it was time for us to go for that ride we had always talked about. We were just going to go around the neighborhood and surrounding area for a few minutes so he could get a feel for it and see if was going to like riding, so I didn't make him wear long pants and let him just wear his shorts.

He was in heaven hollering "woo hoo" the whole way. He kept saying "papa this is so awesome" and the smile on my face was a mile wide. I could feel his little hands holding my waist now and then and I nearly teared up. My little buddy was riding with papa and loving it as much as I was.

Look out roadways! Papa and Zander are a new force on the blacktop. What a great weekend.
