A report from the Wyoming Department of Health says Emma and Wyatt were the most popular baby names in Wyoming last year.

The report was compiled by the department's Vital Statistics Service. Among boys born in the state last year, Wyatt was followed by Liam, William, Lincoln, and a three-way tie among Daniel/Jackson/James.

Jackson is a popular name, but because of spelling variants, it doesn't always place in the top five, according to the report.

Among girls, Emma was followed by Harper, Olivia, Ava, and Elizabeth. Ava and Elizabeth did not make the top five in 2015 in Wyoming.

The report also shows only a few Wyoming counties held steady or showed an increase in babies born to state residents. Those included Albany, Carbon, Hot Springs, Johnson, Laramie, Niobrara, and Sheridan counties.

The biggest decrease percentage wise was seen in Washakie (-29 percent), Sublette (-18 percent) and Big Horn and Converse counties, (-14 percent).
