Woodward Moves Forward With Expansion at Link-n-Greens
This picture shows one of the Christmas trees at Woodward. It's just part of their elaborate decorations that we are allowed to enjoy every year at the corner of Lemay and Drake. Fort Collins has reaped the benefits of this 'good citizen' for 57 years and has now stepped up with millions to keep the company here. Woodward provides technological solutions for the aerospace and energy markets.
Woodward will likely keep its corporate headquarters in Fort Collins thanks to a $23.5 million incentive package from the city. According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, yesterday the City Council gave initial approval to ordinances that would deliver a financial incentive package to Woodward allowing it to expand its facilities on the current site of the Link-n-Greens golf course. Final consideration of the ordinances is scheduled April 2nd.
The Coloradoan has details on this story.
