Woman Shot in the Neck While Driving on I-25 Near the Windsor Exit

It's scary enough driving on I-25. Now we have to worry about someone shooting at us? A 20-year-old Milliken woman was shot in the neck while driving on I-25 near the Windsor exit yesterday.  At 11:15 last night the woman was driving between East Harmony Road and Highway 392, when the front driver's side window of her vehicle shattered and she sustained a gunshot wound to her neck.

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office says, she was able to safely stop her vehicle and call 9-1-1. The unidentified woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries. So far, no suspects have been identified. The Windsor exit! This is the exit I have taken to work every day for the past 27 years. I can't be the only one concerned. What is happening in Northern Colorado? Our thoughts are prayers go out to the woman who was injured and her family.
