Arctic Cold Front Moving In
Arctic air is moving into Colorado today. The National Weather Service is forecasting 1-4 inches of snow for Northern Colorado today. There is a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY in effect from 6 a.m. today until 5 a.m. Tuesday. Here are the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:
Today…Snow and areas of light freezing drizzle early in the morning…Then snow in the late morning and afternoon. Areas of blowing snow in the late morning and afternoon. Snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches. Highs: 11 to 17. North winds 10 to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight…Areas of blowing snow in the evening. Snow likely in the evening…Then a chance of snow after midnight. Snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. Lows 8 below to 12 below zero.
