The Windsor Wizards are State Champions. The Wizards beat the Silver Creek High School Raptors 14-7 on Saturday to win the 2011 Class 3A Football Championship.

It wasn't easy. Late in the 4th quarter Silver Creek had the ball on the Windsor 3-yard line, but fumbled the ball. It was recovered by the Wizards.

Windsor Quarterback Joe Sanger was named the the game's Most Valuable Player. He accounted for Windsor's two touchdowns. His 42-yard touchdown pass just before halftime put the Wizards up 7-0, and his 2-yard run in the fourth quarter clinched the victory.
