It's that time of year again, the time of year I'm sure all homeowners dread...getting those wet, soggy leaves off the streets and off your lawns.

In a press release sent out this morning, the Town of Windsor urges residents to keep their leaves out of the street, and that includes when they're trying to clean up their lawns. Leaves in the street can not only clog up storm drains, but they can also add phosphorus into the Cache la Poudre River as they decompose. Yuck.

The Town of Windsor has a brush recycling site that they encourage residents to take their leaves, twigs, branches, and grass clippings to. Drop-off fees are $5 per load for the residents that have a permit, and $15 per cubic yard for non-residents and commercial entities.
