Windsor/Severance Fire Department Responds to Smoke on Main Street [PICTURES/VIDEO]

Windsor/Severance Fire Department responded to reports of smoke coming from a business on Main Street in Windsor this morning.

The smoke was coming from Theo’s Pizza restaurant at 520 Main Street at around 4:15 this morning. Main Street was blocked off while firefighters responded to the situation. They were going door to door to neighboring business checking on their situation as well.

Here is what Main Street looked like at 6 a.m.

I spoke with the manager of Theo's who told me that the damage was mostly at the front of the building and did not spread to the kitchen or neighboring businesses. He was thankful to the officer who spotted the smoke coming out of the building just after 4 a.m. this morning. He was also thankful that the building was empty as far as people go and that it could have been a lot worse. They are still investigating the cause of the smoke at this time.
