There won’t be a Windsor-Severance Re-4 School Board election this year because nobody is challenging incumbents Sean Ash and Carlene Irion. The petition deadline was Friday, but write-in candidates had until 4 p.m. Tuesday to declare their candidacy. Since no one came forward, Ash and Irion will serve another four-year term.

Sherry Hoffman, elections officer and executive assistant to the superintendent/board of education, said an election this year would have cost the school district and tax payers about $17,000. Read more in the Greeley Tribune.
