I was ten years old when my dad brought home the 8-track tape of a new Willie Nelson album. I remember him coming home with 'Red Headed Stranger' and I don't think there was a vacation or road trip with my dad afterwards that did not include listening to that record. It was part of the soundtrack of life starting back in 1975.

It was just over ten years later that the album would be the inspiration for a movie staring Willie Nelson as a preacher. There were so many great songs in that movie and the movie itself was not too bad either. Willie would go on to make many more movies and continues to put out a new album about every other Thursday it seems. This guy just never slows down. Thanks for all the great music and movies and years of entertainment Willie. Here is a taste of 'Red Headed Stranger' and some of the great songs from that record as well.
