Who Won The 2012 HeismanTrophy?

Who won the Heisman? The 2012 Heisman trophy winner is Texas A&M University quarterback Johnny Manziel . Manziel becomes the 1st freshman to ever win the award. The young quarterback passed for 3,419 yards and 24 touchdowns. He also rushed for 1,181 yards and 19 touchdowns. Manziel is the first quarterback in SEC history, and only the fifth player ever in the NCAA to have 3,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in the same season. By surpassing 4,600 yards, he set a new SEC record for total yards in a season.
The finalists for the 78th Annual Heisman Memorial Trophy were Kansas State University quarterback Collin Klein, University of Notre Dame middle linebacker Manti Te’o and Manziel.
The three finalists were invited to New York for the live Heisman Trophy announcement over the weekend.
I was personally rooting for Collin Klein. He is a local kid who graduated from Loveland High School.
