Who Is the Greatest Country-ish Act of All Time With Ties to Colorado? [POLL/VIDEO]

We love our country music here in Colorado. We have some of the best venues in the world for music and artists from all over the world love to come to our state and play. So many artists fantasize about playing places like Red Rocks as much as they do the Grand Ole Opry and The Ryman. We have had a few successful artists with ties to Colorado in the county format but not as many as I thought. Help me pick who you think is the best of the crop.

We all know of John Denver and his love of the Rocky Mountain area. The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band have a couple members with deep Colorado connections and they are one of my personal all time favs. The Rajun Cajun Doug Kershaw has called Colorado home for many many years and who can forget CW McCall and his classic hit "Convoy" among others. Dan Fogelberg was known as a pop artist but did chart a country song as well and we are very proud that Firefall is a Colorado product. They had so many great songs. Time to vote.
