Who Are the CSU Rams Playing in the 1st Round of the NCAA Men’s BasketballTournament [POLL]

The 8th seeded CSU Rams men's basketball team  will play 9th seeded Missouri in the 1st round of the NCAA Basketball Tournament. The game will be played on Thursday in Lexington Kentucky! Colorado State is in the Midwest bracket, where Louisville is the #1 seed.

The Rams finished their season with a loss to UNLV in the semi-finals of the Mountain West Tournament in Las Vegas.  However, Colorado State finished their season with a very impressive record of 25-8, which is also a school record for wins.

4 teams from the Mountain west are in the tournament besides the Rams:  New Mexico, UNLV, San Diego State, and Boise State.

BUFFS MAKE IT TOO

The CU Buffs are also in the Big Dance.  They earned a #10 seed in the tournament. They will face 7th seed Illinois in the East Regional Friday in Austin, Texas. If Colorado does get by Illinois, they would likely face #2 seed Miami in the 2nd round.
