The Hennessey Venom GT is the fastest 2-seat sports car known to man. What's the point of 250MPH?  Because they can and it's in the male genetic code to do so.

Most people right off the bat ask themselves the same question, "Why?" JFK sums it up best in the beginning of this video with his space race speech. 'Because we can' pretty much sums it up.  The car has been certified at a top speed of 270.49 MPH.
