What Was The First Video Shown On CMT? [VIDEO]

It was on this date in 1983 that CMT first appeared on our TV screens. I used to watch it all the time because, believe it or not, they used to show videos. Now it seems like it's an endless stream of mindless shows. I miss the days of turning on CMT to see and hear about music. I know they do a good awards show but I would rather watch videos than the latest episode of some mindless redneck themed show. I find those to be a bit of a slap in the face to country fans.
