Truck driving songs and country music go hand in hand. They go together like beer and pizza. Who hasn't rapped along to the original rapper C.W. McCall and "Convoy" or Kathy Mattea's "Eighteen Wheels and a Dozen Roses"?

It was 30 years ago that Alabama topped the charts with one to the greatest trucking songs of all time..."Roll On (Eighteen Wheeler)". To celebrate the occasion I have put together what I consider 10 of the best trucker tunes of all time. Sorry but I even had to include the Grateful Dead and the classic "Truckin'". I know it isn't necessarily country but most of us do know it. Thanks to all of those that drive the big rigs and keep America moving. We sure do appreciate you boys and girls of the highway.
