Sometimes even SUSAN gets down.  When my feelings get hurt it's important for me to acknowledge them, try to understand them, and finally to pray. I ask for a reprieve from sadness, if only temporarily, and the comeback always changes my attitude.

Even if you're having the best day ever, take a peek into my first aid kit for a scoop of joy.

 

1.   Take some time to think.  Do it with a kind soul if you like, a good listener.

 

2.   Go for a ride. Be proud you kept your thoughts unspoken, especially the bad words.

3.  Remember that you are the daughter (or son) of a King.

4.  Have breakfast in bed.

 

5.  Know that your angels/friends have your back.

Finally, for my own sake, I forgive...but don't forget the sting...
