Tomorrow, March 26 is the start of the most important two days of my year. Starting at 5 a.m. tomorrow Todd and I will begin our 28 hour radio marathon to help abused children in Northern Colorado with our 17th annual 28 Hours of Hope. There is nothing in the world more important to me than this event. There are kids out there who really need us and I will be there for them and I know you will too.We will once again be raising money for A Kid's Place in Greeley, Namaqua Center in Loveland and the Larimer County Child Advocacy Center. Last year we raised over $130,000!

I love that the 28 Hours of Hope helps abused children have a voice, but I am equally as proud of the amount of adults the 28 hours has helped as well. I am honored when someone comes to us and tells us that this happened to them as a child and were never able to talk about it until hearing the 28 Hours of Hope. What an amazing thing. Healing happens when you acknowledge the wound and I am so proud that this event helps that to happen. It touches my heart when I see all the groups in our community who take the 28 hours to heart and go out and raise money for it. Nothing is as touching as a child coming in and emptying their piggy bank in our bucket and telling us they are giving their money so kids don't have to hurt anymore. I am blessed to get to witness firsthand the kindness that is in people's hearts as they give to the 28 Hours of Hope. I am honored to be the vehicle for your giving.

We have a big task at hand and I am ready to drive the bus. Are you ready to jump on-board and make a difference? I am counting on you. Let's do this! God bless the child.
