Yippee it's the weekend and you're almost done or done with your Christmas shopping and why clean the house now when you'll only have to clean it again before the big house destroying event known as the Christmas Exchange. Let's hit the movies!

THE GOTTA SEE MOVIES THIS WEEKEND

  • Exodus: Gods and Kings – This highly anticipated film has a fortunate release date, it will get a head start on the presumed hits before they hit: 'Into the Woods' and 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies'. This flick features ex-batman star Christian Bale as Moses who rise up against Pharaoh Ramses. As a Ridley Scott film, it shouldn't disappoint.
  • Top Five – Chris Rock plays a comedian (what a stretch) trying to break into serious acting when his fiance', a reality TV show host convinces him into broadcasting their wedding on her show. This flick scores fairly high with critics, might be a good choice for date night.
  • Inherent Vice – This looks to be a funky film, outside the everyday box office smash hits. This is a movie that will engage your thought, make you laugh (if for no other reason than the way life used to be) and show you a new side of Joaquin Phoenix and Josh Brolin. If you're lucky and you don't blink, you'll also catch a few of your other favorites like Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, Eric Roberts, Martin Short, Benicio Del Toro and more. This might be a tough find on a limited release, but worth a look around.

Happy Christmas Shopping, Movie Going and Football Weekend!
