We all have them. We keep them hidden and never open them in front of company. I am, of course, talking about the dreaded 'junk drawer'. I just read a survey that said that over 90% of us have a junk drawer. I would say it would be more accurate to say about 10% might have a drawer that is NOT a junk drawer.

I have a drawer at home that you have to jiggle a bit so everything moves around a little and then you can maybe get it open because it so crammed with worthless misshapen items that are jammed in there. We have everything from jars of screws to scissors to tape to decks of cards and odd batteries and so on. It is literally filled with junk.

We even have a junk drawer here at work. It was actually cleaned out in the last year but still contains a couple of packs of birthday candles, a fairy wand, a paper plate, some hot sauce and ketchup packets, a screwdriver, some Craisins and a map of northern Colorado. I would like to see MacGyver make something out of those materials. How about you? What is lurking in your junk drawer? Let me know some of the strange things in yours and maybe even take a picture and post it for us. Let's share our junk today.
