Weld Food Bank ‘Corporate Challenge’ Begins Soon

The Weld Food Bank’s two-week long 2012 Corporate Food Challenge begins April 2nd, and several area businesses will be vying for the opportunity to hoist trophies high above their heads, while helping to feed the hungry in Weld County at the same time. Weld Food Bank Director of Development, Kevin Mullin says there’s still time to get your business involved in the event.
The Corporate Food Challenge runs through April 13th, and has businesses competing for four main trophies, Most Volunteer Hours, Most Food Raised, Most Funds Raised, and Overall.
This last fiscal year set another record for families who are trying to survive this economy by coming in to the Weld Food Bank. With over 70,000 individuals needing Emergency Food Boxes this past fiscal year, the Weld Food Bank needs your support now more than ever.
Get on board and join area businesses who are making a difference in our community by taking part in this Corporate Food Challenge. There’s still time to be involved. Get more information, and sign your team up by calling the Weld Food Bank at 970-356-2199.
Thank you from your team of Weld Food Bank supporters here at Townsquare Media of Northern Colorado!
