Weld Food Bank Collecting Turkeys This Saturday

Tis' the Season!  Thanksgiving is here next week and the Weld Food Bank always tries to make sure no one goes hungry over the holidays.

It's not secret that Weld County is the poorest county in the entire state so with that goes a lot of hunger and Weld Food Bank wants to make sure they feed as many as they can but they need our help.

Weld Food Bank needs 4,219 turkeys this holiday season. That is a lot of turkey!

In fact, it's an increase of 41% over last year. So let's chip in and help where we can.

Weld Food Bank staff and volunteers will be at several locations tomorrow.  They will be at both of the Greeley Wal-Marts, Greeley Sam’s Club and the Ken Pratt Wal-Mart in Longmont collecting turkeys on Saturday November 23rd from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Turkeys can also be brought to Weld Food Bank located at 1108 H Street or to any Wing Shack location in Greeley or Windsor.
