Weld Deputies Seek Person of Interest in Woman’s Death
The Weld County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a person of interest after they found a woman dead at a home near Longmont Tuesday morning. The Weld County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 65-year-old Lila Ann King of Longmont. The cause of her death has not yet been released.
On Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at approximately 11:48 am, the Weld County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence at the River Valley Village, at 10910 Turner Boulevard, near Longmont. A neighbor informed dispatch that there was a woman who appeared to be unconscious inside of her residence. When deputies arrived on scene they found the woman was deceased.
The Weld County Sheriff’s Office began a preliminary investigation and determined the circumstances surrounding the victim’s death to be suspicious and have devoted multiple resources to the investigation
The Weld County Coroner’s Office has positively identified the victim as being; 65-year-old, Lila Ann KING, of Longmont. The cause of death will not be released at this time in order to preserve the integrity of the case.
The Weld County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a person of interest associated with this investigation as well as a vehicle that may be connected to the investigation.
The person of interest is 42-year-old, Joseph Keith Ribble, of Aurora. He is described as 5’08” tall, weighing 160 pounds, brown eyes and brown hair. Ribble currently has two active warrants out for his arrest from a surrounding agency for failure to comply.

The vehicle is a Gold 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer with Colorado Plate 983-QHB, with black rims and damage to the front passenger bumper.
Based on the information obtained in the investigation, its believed there is no threat to the community. Because the investigation into this incident is active and ongoing, additional information is not available at this time.
