Weld County 4-H Horse Bowl Team Come Home Winners

The Weld County 4-H Horse Bowl Team recently returned from a trip to the Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus Ohio where they competed with teams from across the nation in a quizbowl style contest that centers on all phases of the horse industry.

The team members placed 11th overall in the competition that tested teams from across the US.

They also toured the horse country of Kentucky with stops at Clairmore Farms and Churchill Downs.

The team qualified to attend the Quarter Horse Congress (the World’s largest single breed horse show) by placing 3^rd at the State 4-H contest held in June at the Colorado State University Campus.

The team is currently looking forward to their next opportunity to represent Weld County & Colorado at a National Event.
