Today’s Weld County Veterans Day commemoration was moved inside because of the bad weather. According to the Greeley Tribune, it will take place in the Exhibition Building at Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley. Normally, Bittersweet Park is home to the event.

"The event will begin at 11 a.m. It will include Austin Wahlert singing the national anthem and other songs, the Color Guard presented by the Weld County Sheriff’s Office, the Honor Guard from the Union Colony Marines, music by the Brentwood Middle School Band, the mayor’s proclamation, invocation by ex-Navy Seal Pastor Mark Hotaling and an address by Maj. Gen Trulan Eyre."

Lunch will be served at Greeley Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2121 following the ceremony.
