The 2014 NHL Winter Classic was held New Year's Day at Michigan Stadium.

Lots of people were there, including Zac Brown, and other members of ZBB, to sing the National Anthem to kick things off!

We have the video-- Check it out!

On January 1st, 2014 at Michigan Stadium over 105.000 people turned out to see an NHL hockey game- outside!

The 8th Winter Classic was played between the Detroit Red Wings and The Toronto Maple Leafs.  Toronto ended up winning the game, after a three-round shootout at the end of regulation.

Before the pucks started sliding (and NOT sliding because of snow on the rink), members of The Zac Brown Band got out there to sing The Star Spangled Banner on behalf the Red Wings (though, I guess it looks like it didn't help Detroit win..)
