Did you help actor Tom Hanks with a flat tire in Loveland and not even know it?

According to KM 8 News, the actor was impressed with Loveland residents and had a lot of nice things to say about them during the incident.

"Well...we had a flat tire just as we were about to leave the city limits of Loveland and 2, maybe 3 cars pulled over within 5 minutes to help us with it," he allegedly said. "And no, they had no idea who I was before they pulled over. They were very helpful and very friendly. I gotta say, I was really impressed with the people of Loveland, Colorado. That would've never happened in L.A.!"

KM 8 News says his car was back on the road in no time, but...was this even true?

No, it's not. It's definitely, 100% a fake story.

According to Snopes, fake news sites like KM 8 News had to switch up their click bait tactics after people caught on to the fake stories of celebrities moving to their hometowns back in March. So since April, they've been publishing stories of high profile celebs getting flat tires in small towns instead.

If you see a similar story, don't fall for it. It's a hoax.
