“Wait, I Forgot My Shield, I Think My Mom Has it!”[VIDEO]

I have been a long time movie fan and I am very excited for this weekend: the release of 'The Avengers'!

I saw this commercial this morning and I had the warmest mom moment. I am excited for the movie, but this commercial, which is for the merchandise not the movie, just made me smile.

When the commercial for the movie garb comes on, initially it appears to be a commercial for the movie and when the camera angle changes you see the characters are kids.

The movie itself opens this Friday. It's been a project in the making since, well, I guess you could say 1963. The original Marvel comics crew included; Iron-man, Ant-man, Wasp, Thor and the Hulk. Captain America came along a little later.

"And there came a day, a day unlike any other, when Earth's mightiest heroes and heroines found themselves united against a common threat. On that day, the Avengers were born—to fight the foes no single super hero could withstand! Through the years, their roster has prospered, changing many times, but their glory has never been denied! Heed the call, then—for now, the Avengers Assemble!"

Over the years there have been many friends and foes. The group, the idea, the timeless childhood that The Avengers represents in us all is just good old fashioned fun. I personally cannot wait to see it and see it I will this weekend! Come Monday, we'll talk! :)
