I cannot wait for the smells of Thanksgiving to fill the air tomorrow. I have been staring at that bird in the fridge for days now telling it what I am going to do to it. I have told it how lovely it will feel to have that butter basted all over it until it's skin is brown as a tanned body on the beach. I didn't tell it how I was going to sever it into delicious slices of flesh for us to bathe in gravy and slide down our necks.

My job each year is to get my electric knife warmed up and do the carving. I love this job and have gotten pretty good at it over the years. I learned from the best, as my dad is a great turkey carver.
