Veteran’s Plaza in Fort Collins Honors Those Who Have Fallen Since 9/11 With 7,000 Flags [PICTURES]

I hope you had a chance to visit Veteran's Plaza in Fort Collins over the weekend. My wife and I stopped by on Memorial Day to pay our respects and I was overcome with emotion.  I sat on a stone bench and wept as I looked out over the the 7,000 flags that represented those that have fallen while defending our nation since 9/11.

The most emotional part of our visit was inside the tent that held the tribute to our fallen from Colorado. There was even a photo of a young soldier from Fort Collins that gave his life for our freedom.  God bless all of the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice and their families.
