Veteran’s Plaza in Fort Collins Honors Those Who Have Fallen Since 9/11 With 7,000 Flags [PICTURES]
I hope you had a chance to visit Veteran’s Plaza in Fort Collins over the weekend. My wife and I stopped by on Memorial Day to pay our respects and I was overcome with emotion. I sat on a stone bench and wept as I looked out over the the 7,000 flags that represented those that have fallen while defending our nation since 9/11.
The most emotional part of our visit was inside the tent that held the tribute to our fallen from Colorado. There was even a photo of a young soldier from Fort Collins that gave his life for our freedom. God bless all of the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice and their families.
My wife Jenny took some very powerful pictures from the Plaza and we are very honored to share them with you.
