The Veterans Day 5K will be held this weekend on the CSU Campus. This year's event will be held in honor of Sergeant Nick Walsh. USMC Sgt. Nick Walsh was assigned to the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, when he was killed by an enemy sniper while conducting combat operations in Fallujah, Iraq, on May 26th, 2007.

Running Route:

Registration and race start are at the Oval on the CSU campus.

To Start: Begin near The Institute for Learning and Teaching (TILT), make one full lap around the Oval, and exit on West Drive. Follow the course around campus as noted on the map.

To Finish: Return to the Oval via West Drive, make a 3/4 lap and end near the Weber Building, just south of where the race began.
