USA Today – New Year’s Extreme Rodeo One of Best Family Friendly Events in Nation
The New Year's Eve Extreme Rodeo at the Budweiser Events Center is getting some national recognition. I came across an interview from last year with Larry Bleiberg of USA Today. He talked to Geoff Edgers, host of the new Travel Channel show Edge of America, and shares some favorite family-friendly ways to welcome in the New Year and the Extreme Rodeo is on that list.
Here is what Edgers had to say about the New Year's Eve Extreme Rodeo:
Forget watching ball drops. It's the contestants who may fall in this special rodeo. With $5 kids' tickets, it's an inexpensive evening of watching bull riding and fighting and bareback and saddle-bronc riding. "I love the idea of spending your New Year's Eve there. It's wildly cool entertainment," Edgers says.
