UNC Student Arrested after Hitting Pedestrian with Car

Natasha Grimaldo admitted to police she drank alcohol before getting behind the wheel of a car.  The 21-year-old UNC student was in taken into custody on suspicion of vehicular assault and driving under the influence after she hit and injured a pedestrian crossing 8th Avenue at 21st Street in Greeley yesterday morning.

26-year-old Zachary Ferguson of Greeley was also run over by a second vehicle before being transported to North Colorado Medical Center and later transferred to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Denver.  He remained in critical condition with severe head trauma last night.
