U.S. Army Sgt. David J. Chambers Among Those Who Gave Their All For Us – Week 3 [VIDEO]
Officially, Monday's suck. It is not my pleasure to do these KIA Honor Posts but I feel we all should know on a weekly basis who these brave men and women are who are dying every week to protect our values and freedom. Please take a moment to thank Sgt. David J. Chambers and his family in the comment section at the bottom of this post. Also, don't forget, every Friday I am now doing a feature where we salute the military hero's here in Northern Colorado who have made it home. Details at the end of this post on how you can salute the hero in your life.
KIA States last week: VA
Sgt. David J. Chambers
Sgt. David J. Chambers – Hampton, Va., KIA Jan. 16, in Panjwai District, Kandahar Province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when he encountered an enemy improvised explosive device while on dismounted patrol. Age 25. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, under control of the 7th Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.
If you have a “hero” in your life who made it home and you would like to recognize them then I would invite you to send me their information and a picture. This is a new feature to end the week on a positive since Monday is such a negative with the KIA honor post. Let's make sure those who made it home also know how proud we are of them. If you have questions or would like to submit information for this Friday feature please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
