Tyler Farr was only 16 when he spent a summer on the road with his musician step-father. Tyler's step-father wasn't just a musician but one of the best lead guitar players around. Probably one of his fondest memories; the summer Tyler went on the road with the legendary George Jones

Tyler got his 'real' start after meeting an avid outdoorsman like himself. That man was Rhett Akins and the two struck up a friendship and started working on projects together after Akins has heard some of Tyler's music.

Tyler Farr co-wrote the song "Hey Y'all" for Colt Ford (Colt was recently featured on Brand New With Barnes as well) and "She's Just Like That" for Joe Nichols.

Tyler has opened for Jerrod Niemann and Lee Brice in early 2011 on The Higher Education Tour and has also opened shows for Colt Ford.

In early 2012, Farr released his debut single, "Hot Mess" which he co-wrote with Rhett Akins followed by the release of his second single, "Hello Goodbye." Tyler’s four-song digital album, Camouflage – EP, is available now.
