Trisha Yearwood, who stars in her own Food Network series 'Trisha's Southern Kitchen,' is quite a foodie -- obviously! When you work with food, especially delicious southern eats featuring a lot of fried, rich cuisine, you tend to taste test a lot of it... which can lead to a few extra unwanted pounds. Mrs. Garth Brooks has shed some excess weight, debuting a new, trimmer figure at the 2013 ACMs on Sunday (April 7).

Yearwood, 48, looked stunning in a tight, form-fitting red dress that hugged her curves and showed off her new hourglass figure. "I've been dieting and exercising and I've lost about 20 pounds," Yearwood told People at an event in February. She also revealed that she is mindful to eat healthy and to only splurge occasionally.

Her mantra is now "everything in moderation" -- especially sweets. "I'm doing very little sugar," Yearwood spills. "And occasionally I have the mac and cheese."

The iconic songstress understands that losing weight is a tough task for most everyone, admitting "We all struggle between eating healthy and falling off the wagon. That's how I live."

What she's doing is working, as she looks absolutely terrific!
