What is being described as a possible "domestic dispute," a 16-year-old transgender boy was arrested by Longmont police, after an incident on Friday (August 28) morning, on suspicion of attempted murder, amongst other charges. According to Timescall.com, the suspect was following his 19-year-old girlfriend, and a 21-year-old man, as they drove around town. When the two pulled into a parking lot in the area of Third Avenue and Emery Street, at approximately 4:45 a.m., the suspect crashed his sport utility vehicle into the car of those he was following. According to Cmdr. Jeff Satur, the collision pushed the car about six-feet.

This is when the suspect pulled out a seven-inch knife, and attempted to stab his girlfriend and her male companion. The man was able to subdue the suspect until authorities arrived, and was arrested on the charges of suspicion of attempted murder, assault, menacing, domestic violence, harassment and stalking.

The suspect suffered a head injury, as a result of being taken down in the parking lot, and is being held in the Boulder County Juvenile Detention Center.  There is no report if the 19-year-old girl sustained any injures, however she did state she had a previous domestic dispute with the suspect. The 21-year-old boy was treated at the local hospital, for pain in his arm, neck and shoulder.
