Traffic Deaths in Larimer County Double in 2014

Traffic deaths in Larimer County are on the rise. Recorded deaths in the county have doubled in 2014.

A traffic accident in north Fort Collins Wednesday claims the life of a 70-year-old woman and marks the 13th death on Larimer County roadways this year.

Emergency crews were called to the site last night around 8p.m. A 70-year-old woman was attempting to make a left hand turn at North Summit View and Mountain Vista Drive when a pick-up, driven by 19-year-old John Boxberger T-boned the woman's car.

Authorities are investigating the crash and do not suspect speed or alcohol to be a factor.
