Halloween is just a few days away and it’s time to get you ghoul on. It is the time of the year to bring out all the ghouls and goblins and get our freak on. We decorate the house and our bodies so why not decorate your stereo with the sounds of the season? County music has had a few “ghost” songs through the years so I thought I would share my Top Five Country Ghost Songs.
This is not a scary ghost story but a very touching one. David Ball’s- Riding With Private Malone.
Many feel this classic from Johnny Cash is the greatest ghost song of all time.
Who could forget this swampy ghost song from Charlie Daniels?
Alan Jackson had a big hit with this tale of the ghost of Hank Williams.
Topping my list is another Hank Williams ghost song, the David Alan Coe classic “The Ride”.
