My Grandma started collecting salt and pepper shakers before I was even born.  My Mom inherited her collection, but then my parents sold their house and became full-time RVers. So, my Mom gave her collection to my sisters and me.

We had a salt and pepper shaker draft. My sisters took all they wanted and there were still a bunch left over, so I took them. I ended up with about 180 pairs. Since then, I have added about 100 more.  Many are gifts. Since people found out I collect them, I have received dozen of pairs from all over the world.

    Mammy and Pappy

My wife Jenny got this pair from her Grandma Kiser.  They are not politically correct, but they are definitely part of our history. I probably like them because they are so taboo.

    Mickey and Minnie Mouse

Jenny found these at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA.  I love Mickey & Minnie.  This is just one of many pairs of Mickey shakers that I own.

    Hat Rack

The hat rack came from my Grandma's original collection and it has always been one of my favorites. It is one of the least practical in my collection because the hats are so small and don't hold very much at all.

    The Piano

When we did our original Salt and Pepper shaker draft, this was my first pick. I love the piano. I think it looks very elegant and you really don't notice what it is at first glance.

    Niagra Falls

This is my favorite pair for sentimental reasons.  My Mom's Mom bought the pair on her honeymoon at Niagra Falls.  I don't know exactly how old they are, but I know they are over 75 years old
