Todd Plays in Poker Tournament to Benefit Triumph Awards [Picture Gallery]
A couple weekends ago I was invited to play in the Fort Collins Series of Poker’s Celebrity Knockout Tournament to benefit Realities For Children’s Triumph Awards. I was one of the “celebrities” along with poker pros Tom McEvoy and Jennifer “Jennicide” Leigh and Tri 102.5 morning man Paul Wozniak.
The goal of the Fort Collins Series of Poker (FCSOP) is to raise funds for the Realities for Children Triumph Awards by offering a series of FREE Poker Tournaments each year. The Triumph Awards are collegiate scholarships given to local youth who have not only survived physical and sexual abuse in their past but have truly triumphed over it personally, socially and academically. It is a cause that means a great deal to me. I am amazed and inspired by these kids. If you would like to make a donation to the Triumph Awards, you can do it here.
The Fort Collins Series of Poker finals are May 20th at the Beachhouse Grill. The winner will get a $1,500 seat in the World Series of Poker. However, the tournament is by invite only and you have to have qualified for the finals to play.
Rob Sims Photos took some pictures during the Celebrity Knockout Event and was kind enough to share them.
