I had the opportunity to play in the Fort Collins Series of Poker "Celebrity Knockout Event" for the the 2nd year in a row over the weekend.  Last year I was the top finishing "celebrity".  This year, I was the 1st one out!  I think we have proven that last year was pure luck....or did I just have bad luck this year?

I was knocked out this year by professional poker player Tiffany Michelle!  I had 3 Queens! I thought I was golden. The problem was, Tiffany had 3 Queens and another pair.  (A full house)  At least I got knocked out by one of the pros! Tiffany has an impressive record as a professional.  She finished 17th overall in the World Series of Poker in a field of over 7,000....So I guess it is o.k. that I got beat by a girl.

I had a blast at the tournament and actually finished 1st in one of the team games after I was out of the main tournament.  The best part of the day is that thousands of dollars were  raise for the Realities For Children Triumph Awards Endowment Fund.  The Triumph Awards were designed to honor and provide recognition for exceptional youth in our community who have overcome the adversities of childhood abuse and neglect in their lives!

You have one more chance to take part in the Fort Collins Series of Poker on Sunday, May 1st with the "Last Chance Qualifier". Go to the Fort Collins Series of Poker website for more information!
