What a crazy year 2015 was for me, both professionally and personally. After much thought and changing my mind several times, I came up with my 10 favorite moments of the year. The picture above is Brian and me and our wives riding in a shuttle during the 50th Annual ACM Awards in Texas.

10. Winning Best Morning Show at CBA Awards

We had a good year at the Colorado Broadcasters Awards. K99 won seven CBA Awards of Excellence, including Best Morning Show. This picture shows me praying before the award is announced and Jordon sending some good mojo my way.

9. Visiting the Blue Field at Boise State With My Family

My wife, Jenny, and I visited my sister, Lori, in in Boise, ID in mid September. My Mom and Dad were visiting at the same time. We all took one afternoon to visit the famous blue field at Boise State University. I wore my CSU Rams green and gold and my sister wore her Broncos' blue and and orange.

8. Hangin' on the Bus With A Thousand Horses

We had a ton of great New From Nashville performances at the Boot Grill this past year. My favorite was the show put on by A Thousand Horses. The band was fantastic. Not only did they put on an amazing performance, they were great guys too. They invited us on their bus after the show.

We spent a beautiful Easter Sunday at Flatiron Reservoir with some family, including Uncle Harold. It would be the last time I would see my Dad's brother. He passed away a few months later.

5. Bremerton Ferry to Seattle

This past summer, my wife and I visited family and friends in the Puget Sound area, in and around Seattle. Every time we visit we like to get out on the water. We took the ferry from Bremerton, WA to Seattle. Jenny took this pic of a seagull that we were feeding french fries and a passing ferrry.

4. 28 Hours of Hope - The Wellington Kids

We had another record-breaking year for our 17th Annual 28 Hours of Hope. Thanks to the wonderful K99 listeners, we raised over $130,000 to help fight child abuse in Northern Colorado for the 2nd year in a row. There were too many highlights to count them all, but one that stands out is the kids from Wellington. They have raised tens of thousands of dollars for the 28 Hours over the years.

3. Kid Rock's CD Release Party at 50th Annual ACM Awards

The Good Morning Guys were named finalists for Small Market Personalities of the Year by the Academy of Country Music. Since it was the 50th Annual ACM Awards and it was at AT&T Stadium in Texas, Brian and I decide we would take our wives to the show. There were numerous highlights, including the show itself, a brunch with Kristian Bush and Austin Webb, hanging out with John Rich at the ACM Radio Awards, and Kid Rock's CD release party for his album, "First Kiss". There were around one hundred people at the party and Kid Rock took time to talk to all of us.

2. Habajeeba Show at Union Colony Civic Center

We kicked off 2015 with the Good Morning Guys Habajeeba Good Time Variety Happy Hour Comedy Show at the Union Colony Civic Center. Chase Bryant, The Cadillac Three, and Dan + Shay all performed. They also all were part of our Match Game skit. It was hilarious. Randy Owens captured this pic of me reading a question to Chase Bryant.

1. Introducing Kenny Rogers With Miss Colorado at Greeley Stampede

Miss Colorado, Kelley Johnson, is a good friend of ours. We have know her step-father Gene Haffner for over 20 years and have known Kelley since she was a little girl. We are so proud of her. She told me that one of her dreams was to be on stage at the Greeley Stampede. I had the opportunity to do the intro for Kenny Rogers and Ronnie Milsap. I asked Kelley to join me. It turned out to be a highlight for both of us.
