Todd Harding Wrecked His Truck Last Night [PICTURES]

Last night my wife and I were in a hurry to get to Nordy's to meet up with Brian Gary and his wife for dinner.  I never made it there.  I wrecked my truck on the way to the restaurant!

It was completely my fault.   I was in a hurry and traffic was horrendous.   I-25 was a parking lot, so I decided to take County Road 5 south of Harmony Road.  That was a mistake. I had forgotten it was closed and there was no sign to indicate that.  So, like dozens of others I drove down that road only to find a road block.   I decided to whip a u-turn and thought the coast was clear.  It was not.

I was hit by another car, whose driver was shocked to see me coming straight at her.  She did all she could to avoid hitting me but I was directly in her path.  We hit hard, but thankfully nobody was hurt.  Both of our vehicles are probably totaled.   I was stupid.

I ended up getting a careless driving ticket.  I will have a massive repair bill or will have to buy a new truck and undoubtedly my insurance will go up...And I never did got to eat at Nordy's.  Wish my day had ended a little differently, but I am grateful to be alive.
