Todd (Wife) Make Sundae Bar
Over the weekend my wife Jenny and I went to dinner at a friends house and we were given the task of bringing dessert! The Holsten family has 6 kids, so we wanted it to be fun, yet tasty! I believe we accomplished both of our goals with an Ice Cream Sundae Bar! We chose 17 toppings to put on the ice cream. It was delicious, but don't take my word for it. One of the kids, Johnny, wrote his own review of the experience:
I walked into the kitchen and saw 12 red bowls, 4 jars, a can of whipped cream, and 1 tub of ice cream. All together, that is vanilla ice cream, with 17 flavors! Totally awesome! While my brothers and sisters sundaes were completely covered in the sugary goodness, my sundae had more of a chocolate only theme. First a big ol' scoop of vanilla, that Todd generously put in my bowl. Then, I headed strait for the chocolate chips. After the chocolate chips, i covered the ice cream in crushed Skor bar, chocolate sprinkles, caramel, marshmallow cream, and whipped cream with a cherry on top! I had so much fun just covering my ice cream, in all my favorite treats, and I hadn't even eaten it yet! Yummy yummy, in my tummy! So good. I think Todd and Jenny are going to have a tough time beating this desert!
